Maps
GNOME maps and location application are using OpenStreetMap.
The maps are downloaded from OpenStreetMap and require a constant network connection. The location information comes from GeoClue and determine your location using a combination of GNSS (GPS), cellular tower connection, and nearby Wi-Fi or Bluetooth endpoints.
Scale to fit
Execute a command (to automatically scale down windows which are too large to fit the screen):
scale-to-fit org.gnome.Maps on
